Joe Hobeck, Editor

Completing the fourth season as Editor on the NBC prime time show Ed, Joe has been working in film and television for the last eight years. He has worked with some of the finest Editors and Directors in the industry such as Lesley Walker on Douglas McGrath's Nicholas Nickleby and Tim Squires on the CBS show Now and Again. Joe also worked as Associate Editor on the newly released Miramax movie My Baby's Daddy. His other credits include co-editor of Crazy Legs Conti: Zen and the Art of Competitive Eating, a documentary that premiered at the 2004 Tribeca Film Festival and is included in this year’s LA Film Festival, You Can Count on Me, The Minus Man, The 24 Hour Woman, Strangeland, and Frogs For Snakes. A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts' film program, Joe got his start as a Production Assistant on the first season of ABC's Spin City. He then moved into post production at The Shooting Gallery where he learned the craft of editing and the ins and outs of New York City's independent film scene. After completing a project for Miramax in Los Angeles, Joe is happy to be back in New York and has recently opened his own post-production facility in Soho where he edited A Perfect Fit.
